Melton all wool Pendleton fabric in a royal blue. It is an all-wool fabric direct from the mill with a thick weave and brushed texture. Brand new fabric, 58 inches in length. The thickness is less than other meltons making it easier to sew. Recommended to clip the seams.
Sews beautifully, not scratchy material with some loft. Washes with no shrinkage in cold water and air dry. Straight off the bolt. Warm wool: a shawl, skirt or swing jacket, perhaps a quick scarf with this great fabric.
Why wool? It is natural, sustainable, and renewable. I love how easily it sews with ease. Non-flammable, non-allergenic, and just feels good to wear.
