Shirt weight tightly woven fabric in a deep navy blue color. The fabric is made of superfine worsted wool and kid mohair. Made in England. The material is 58 inches wide and sold by the yard.
Kid mohair comes from the hair of a young Angora goat which is softer and finer than regular mohair. The diameter of the fiber is 19-23 microns diameter.
Sews beautifully, not scratchy, light-worsted summer weight at 8 oz/yard.
