100% cotton silver corduroy is perfect for slacks, skirts or a jacket. The wale is the number of ridges per inch. This material has an alternating thick and thin pattern.
With 4-wale fabric, adds structure and has a soft hand. . The wale runs the length of the fabric. It is an opaque fabric but not thick making it easier to sew.
